Hey people i ran into a big problem with my fwd dsm today....My CV's are clicking and the boots on both the right and left are tore off....so today i took the axels out and went to autozone, discount and napa and noone had the "correct" size axels. They kept giving me a brand named CCT part # 7934 and 7935...the problem im having is when i goto put the axels into the tranny ive got way 2 much play. Car is a 93 fwd laser non abs turbo....i duno wut to do im dead on wheels...i got no other car to drive...wut can i do? Noone has the correct size axels for my car....someone help.

when i had to do axels on my 92 talon tsi, they had one in stock and they had to order one. but i got it the next day. this was from advnaced auto.

it's hard for me to believe they don't have the right ones, or can't get them considering you are FWD. go back in and just ask them to run the info through the computer on your car, cuz maybe they are pulling the wrong ones down for you.

Did you compare them to the originals before turning them in as cores? Did you try pushing them in till they 'clicked' into the trans? I just looked it up on autozones website and they keep showing the passenger side shaft as part number MI-8036 manufacturer is GCK. Autozone had both of mine in.

tried everything....do YOu have a link to the correct axle numbers? I kept getting CCT axels...part # i believe was 7934- and 7935 both didnt fit....it had way to much play in the transmission....they was so thin it didnt even "grab" onto the tranny. Any part #'s for any store would be greatly appreciated thanx guys..
