Help Needed! Part Number for H&R springs for 1G '93 Talon TSi FWD????

I ordered a set of H&R springs (H&R 52960 Sport Lowering Springs Kit) for my FWD TSi. But the front springs don't seat into the strut mounts. They are too big.
As I searched on Ebay, I notice some springs look different i.e. they get smaller at one end...the ones I bought don't.

Can anyone verify the part number?????

52960 is the correct part number according to the H&R website.

Are the struts/springs that are being replaced on the car original? Can you post photos of what you’re seeing?

I want to replace my new coil overs. I had Eibach sportlines with KYB AGX shocks prior to coil overs and unfortunately trashed everything including strut mounts. I know, big mistake!

That isn't the spring mount. It's just the top hat. You're missing parts.

You're missing the spring seat 40162 ( that's not a part number)

oh man, I'm lost then....I thought the springs seated into the bottom of those. what else am I needing?
