Hey guys. I've got a 98 Eclipse Spyder GS.
I've got a big ass dent in my oil pan and I'm looking to replace it & the oil pickup tube. So I've been looking for oil pans, but I'm unsure which ones will fit...
On mitsubishicarparts.com it shows an oil pan for the Cali 2.4 & a Fed 2.4... now I own 2 3gs and know what the difference is in the Cali & Fed 3gs, but I didn't know that 2gs had anything to do with Cali & Fed editions. Could someone shine some light on this for me so I can get a oil pan ASAP?
btw, I have searched & I didn't see any info on this

The best way to be sure you're getting what you need is to either call a dealership or buy a Haynes/Chiltons manual. Both will tell you.

Post the cars VIN # and I can look up which oil pan you need in CAPS or you can call the dealership and have them do it for you.

Agreed. You should post your VIN. I did a quick search on car-part.com and salvage yards aren't listing them a interchangeable. That's not to say they aren't but your VIN will tell you definitively what will work. Good Luck!
