Help me on my rebuild

I recently bought a new 420a to replace the one i destroyed in my 97 eclipse. Any recommendations on parts/add ons worth buying. I plan on doing this car right this time.

If you are going to spend money-
- turbo kit, and good computer !

Or you can start with
- good exhaust system,
- cold air system
- high flow cat
- header
- strut bars

And that's just the beginning ...... hope that help and enjoy it

You could also add to 307's list a set of cams. You could go with internals if you are going for larger amounts of power. It all demends on what your plans with the car are.

^^^ What he said. It all depends on your plans. If you want a nice DD with maybe a small bump in output then a few bolt ons and maybe a head refresh will suffice but if you want to run quarter mile times you're looking at a deep pocket book.

Rebiuld your head at same time. I wasted an entire gasket set on my mustang once because I had two bad valves (one in cyl 1 and one on oppsite cyl 2). Less to worry about in the long run.

I'm in the same situation. I already have a full exhaust and a custom built CAI (a real cold air intake). I don't know whether to maybe get some cams or just go straight to turbo with decent boost.

dude what im doing is all the internals and bolt on mods i can do first then worry about turbo because i learned on the last engine that its a good idea to do the internals and get everything set up right before you worry about turbo
