I have the oppertunity to buy a 94 talon es, with 128k on the clock, it has a rebuilt transmission (auto) and is in what I'd call fair condition accordting to KBB (the seller says good) but it has some rust on the hood, it stalled about 3 times on our little test run (it hadn't run for about 2 months prior to this) it needs new brakes, the rubber seal for the driver door is falling off (how can I fix that?) and some of the factory body kit is falling off, lemme know if $2k is to much and how I could fix some of these problems if I buy it. Sorry if the post is a little to long...

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
with all those problems imo stay away from that. i got my laser turbo for $900. it wasnt even in that rough of shape bro.

WAY TO MUCH for a non turbo and the an automatic....yikes in rough shape.......also i paid 75$ for my talon TSI AWD. now it wasnt running when i got it obviously. it cost me a 200$ head some labor and then the alt went out.........the car was in good shape to

looks like I am going to have to tell him no... I enjoyed the little test drive I did, maybe I'll look for another. Any suggestions?

Yeah, find a nice clean early 92 white talon tsi awd. Oh wait, I just happen to have one of those I'm looking to get rid of! :thumb:
