Help Finding a Turbo DSM

Hello Everyone.

I am looking for a turbocharged 1gb 4G63(?) engine for an engine swap. I've already put a couple hundred man-hours into the body of my current N/T. But I would prefer a 92 engine.

Does anyone know of a way to find a car like this? I haven't had any luck searching on the internet. Does anyone have any hints or tips?

Putting a turbo motor in a N/T is not your average motor swap. Here is a link telling how to do it:Swap It is possible and has been done, but you'd be better off just buying a turbo dsm, or turboing(sp?) your N/T. I believe there is a write up by Mavisky on this site, probably in the tech articles. If you like working on your car, go for it, if you want a turbo car sooner, just buy a turbo dsm .

Judt serch for the engine then go to a bone yard and get the remainder parts you need. I have done this swap. It is pretty straight forward and easy. I used a 6 bolt enigne in my 94 eclispe. Just make sure you get the right parts and wire everything correctly. And don't worry about getting a complete harness just wire in the extra wries it is much easier to do it that way.

I have a 91 awd that i'm selling for $600 with motor/trans but you live too far away and I think it's sold soon so I guess that idea's out..
