Hey whats up fellas. I recently picked up the carbonetics AR kit for my car. Obviously any wheel combo that wouldve worked with oem now sits in quite a bit. I'm trying to figure out what offsets I need to have the wheels sit flush. I jacked the car up and put suspension on jackstands so it preloads everything and took measurements. In the front I measured from the hub surface to fender and got 4" and in the rear I got 4.75". Now I'm planning to run a 10.5" wheel and I tried to figure it out but everytime i figure it out the offset just doesn't sound correct. Anyone have any good ways to easily figure this out? I'd hate to order wheels and them not fit and then have to run spacers. Id like to stay away from spacers if possible unless its a small like 5mm spacer. Thanks in advance. 20200924_130553.jpg 20200924_130628.jpg 20200924_130553.jpg 20200924_130553.jpg 20200924_130628.jpg 20200924_130553.jpg 20200924_130628.jpg

I saw that kit on their site with pictures of the silver car. I was hoping to see some more detailed pics from someone who had bought it to get the look of it better.

How do yo like the fit so far?

The fit isn't the best but its pretty good for custom fiberglass work. I've definitely seen worse and worked with way worse in the past. These will need minimal work to fit nice.

    Ok, let's do some math.
    10.5" wheel.
Divide that by 2 to get the centerline of the wheel at 5.25"
So, a 0 offset wheel would sit 5.25" off the hub.
We want that to be 4" and 4.75" for front and rear respectively, so we need to subtract those from 5.25" to find out how much we need to offset the hub surface from the centerline of the wheel.
We get 1.25" front and .5" for the rear.
Convert to metric and you get 32mm for front and 13mm for rear.
Because the hub surface was offset towards the face of the wheel, the offset numbers are positive.

    Diameter x 10.5" +32 mm front
    Diameter x 10.5" +13 mm rear

Your the best. Thats roughly where abouts I was thinking but a lot of the pics from guys with the same kit say theyre running 18x10.5 et15 and they sit flush front and rear. Asked if they was running spacers but never got a reply back to confirm. Its like its a big secret or something LOL. I wanna try and keep away from spacers if possible but lot of wheels im looking at dont have big variations of offset so i may have to run a small spacer which im fine with just dont wanna run something like a 25mm spacer. Thanks again.
