help! door locks busted

I just bought my 95 gsx a few weeks ago.

I had the old alarm system uninstalled because im getting a new clifford 3.5. But for right now I just have my key... and for some reason it wont unlock my doors or trunk. It starts the ignition, but if i lock any of my doors the key won't even turn in the locks?? Anyone have any idea how I can fix this real quick, I have to leave my car unlocked at my apartment complex so I can get into it and I don't want to have to do this for very long... its only a matter of time before someones going to try and take it.

Hmmm thats wierd. did some 2g's come with seperate keys for ignition and door locks.

[Only if the one of the set had been replaced, as when some orc has fifteen pounds of shit hanging off his key ring and hammers the guts out of the ignition lock.]

Hey I have a 95 Talon and I had the same problem with the drivers door. What I did was take apart the door panel and found out that the actual arm that goes from the key tumbler to the locking device had fallen off and was just chilling in the door panel, so I put that back on and put wd-40 over all the locking parts and in the tumbler and that fixed it perfectly for my car, not sure if thats the same problem you have but thought I would just tell u what I did.

as far as i know there was never such thing as a different key for locks and ignitions... i know that GSX's came with a factory alarm system, mine was replaced (prior to me purchasing it) with a viper, and was uninstalled before i bought it... as far as the arm falling off, i don't think it would've happened with both doors AND the trunk.

I'm thinking that the ignition was replaced at some point... suggesting that my car may possibly have been stolen before? i'm at work for the next 24 hours so im trying to get as much responses as i can and read as much as possible before i get back to my car tomorrow night.
