HELP: Boosting Problem

I just installed a TurboXS dual stage boost controller(Just because it was $40). I have the low set all the down hoping to only hit about 10psi, but I cant seem to get under 13psi.

Just wondering because my friend has a profec B and he has his low set a 9psi with a 16G. Should I just buy an electronic one to make it easier.

Some boost controllers may not let you adjust down that low or it may be because of the wastegate and the turbo. I seen you dont have a different turbo so the t-25 is what im running also and ive got an hks evc thats electronic and ive got the low set all the way down and im still pushing 12 psi

Generally you cant lower boost any lower than the waste gate is set for. I was running a turbonetics wastegate with a 9PSI spring. No matter what you do to the boost contoller, you cant make it hold less than that 9 PSI. A typical boost controller works by "blocking" the waste gate from seeing the boost until you get to what the boost contoller is set for. Then it lets the boost through allowing the waste gate to open. Your boost contoller is set for 10 PSI meaning that it is blocking the wastegate from seeing boost until 10 PSI at which point it opens. Then your waste gate being set for a higher boost, allows boost to climb to 12-13 PSI. Im not sure what you can do to lower the boost on a talon unless you can adjust the waste gate.

your wastgate shaft bent? Is your friends a 1g? im not sure if 2g's can go that low stock
