Help!! boost all messed up.

Ok my gst had what seemed to be a bad clutch so i took it to get changed. after they put it back in and i went to pick it up the guy asked me if it always had a big hesitation and i was like hell no. they cant figure it out since they arent very fermiliar with turbos.

Symptoms: first gear, revs to around 3K rpm and the feels like the boost just stops going into the engine.
2nd: pulls a little better without much hesitation
3rd: engine just revs and hesitated almost like the clutch is slipping but its not.
4 & 5th: same^^

anyone ever had this problem before i tried searching but couldnt find anything specific. the mechanic told me it probably has to do with the wastegate to take it to a turbo shop. please help.

sounds like a boost leak. they probably didnt make the ic pipe clamps tight enough

the thing is it used to be fine before. im not sure if they have to take the IC pipe off to take out the clutch. maybe i'm wrong about that.its just driving me crazy. besides that the car ran like a beast. just got the bottom end put in like 4 months ago. so i really need to figure out what it is. if anyone has any imput i would appreciate it.
