Alright, i just replaced my stock exhaust manifold with a DNP tubular manifold and the stock o2 housing with a stainless steal external dump housing and put a different coolant reservoir bottle in to replace the stupid advanced auto coolant bottle that was in there, All fresh new hardware and gaskets. After start up and warm up, i took it out for a test drive, pulled it back into the garage, let it idle, revved it, check for exhaust leaks, nothing. few minutes later i saw a big coolant leak coming from the passenger side of the motor. it still has the stock t25 turbo. it seems to be either from the thermostat housing or the banjo bolt thats right behind the turbo. It didnt do this before????? i think its leaking in both spots, the coolant bottle is not the stock bottle. it only has one coolant line that goes to the housing, is it leaking because it does not have that other coolant line for overflow? is it because it has to release pressure causing it to leak at the path of least resistance? do i need a different coolant cap that releases pressure because this bottle is sealed? Never had a coolant leak until now and like i said i test drove it for like 3 minutes after warm up. please help:confused:

forgot to add that i did put a small hole on the top of the bottle to let pressure out. Ill run it again tomorrow to see if maybe that is the issue, as for things being loose, i always double check everything after i do it. nothing is loose.

if that overflow is completely closed thats prob ## problem. there needs to be a vent off of it to release excess pressure. and the tube that goes down into the bottle on a stock one allows your motor to suck in coolant from the bottle if you start leaking it out. I'd put that bottle you had back in and see if that fixes it.

well like i said i put a hole in the new bottle at the top to release pressure but i have not ran it yet, ill try it tomorrow. If that doesnt fix it, ill put the other one back in and see what happens. :dsm:

i guess after doing my upgrades, (tubular manifold and S.S o2 housing) moving the turbo around somehow i put a hole in one of the rubber coolant lines. it was spraying out of the hole up towards the thermostat housing cause me to believe it was coming from there. i noticed the spray yesterday from the hose. i replaced it. Ran the car for a while. No coolant leak. Gosh..had me worried haha
