Help...2g or Evo III exhaust manifold??

I've been thinking to replace the stock 1g manifold and o2 housing but i can't decide whether I should be looking into a 2G (ported or not) or a EVO III and o2 housing.Which one would be better for my 3''PaceSetter Monza Hi-Flow Downpipes and stock 14b? and will gain any hp??Thanks

Check out Slowboy Racing - They've got a great deal on the Evo III manifolds. I've heard they flow a bit better than the 2G. I've got one on my '92 TSI.

if you're paying for a new one you might as well get the evo manifold for like 10 bucks more... get it ported too for about the best flow you can get out of a stock manifold.

I order one from Slowboy Racing - ported Evo III manifolds and non ported o2 housing with bolts and gaskets everything.I can't wait to see the defference is ,Thanks to u all advise!!

I can see you'll be pulling the O2 housing off to get ported sometime soon.

Evo ex. manifold is better as it has higher nickel content and will be more durable and less prone to crack compared to 2G,..

I bought from Slowboy too and started porting my Evo manifold,..It took a long time and eventually had a shop to finish it,..That is how hard nickel is,..
