Hello,

I'm running in to some trouble,

I got a 96 Eclipse.
And i put in a 99 ecu to get it mapped.

But she won't even fire
Sounds like the ignition is way off.
Or the fireing order is off.

Just some big bang's..that's it.

When i log'd the her while cranking the airflow Hz goes to 170 (ish)
Same with ecu load.. that goes to 154 load..

what i'm i doing wrong

I'm assuming you're referring to a turbo 2g. You went from a 96 to a 99 ECU. The CAS signal on the 98+ ecu is inverted compared to the 96. The firing order is also reversed.

Yeah sorry,

need to give more info

The 96 car is a AT 2.0 turbo

The 99 ecu is off a a 2.0 turbo MT


What sould i do to make it work
Or ### can i do

RRE Instructions

The 95-96 Turbo DSMs have the Cam Angle Sensor in the head on the timing side and use the intake cam gear as a trigger. The 97-99 Turbo DSMs have a Cam Angle Sensor on the other side of the head, so the signal is reversed. You will need to swap the injector pins and your spark plug firing order.
