What's up guys and gals im not the sharpest when it comes to eclipses but have learned a lot about the 420a and some about the 4g63 im lucky enough to have a 96 gs and just recently picked up a 97 gst im good with the mechanical part of things just not so good with wiring diagrams im currently struggling with wiring in a Bee*R knock off rev limiter in my gs simply because my college instructor said it is impossible also im bored amd the country is on lock down id try trial and error but like I said I suck with wiring and dont want to roast any wires or worse my computer amy advice is highly appreciated

Not exactly sure what your asking.

Something about a Bee r rev limiter?

It helps people understand, if you use punctuation, somewhat proper grammar, and no run on sentances. :p

Yeah makes sense had a few beers in me when I wrote that.
I'm trying to wire in a bee*R limiter in my 96 420a gs im trying to figure out how to wire it to the igniter unit not sure if i wire it to the coil pack or cam angle sensor.
I'm sure im going to get the "just buy a megasquirt" but its to prove it can be done. I had the Bee*R sitting around and with the corona virus I really have nothing to do

I just did a search for "bee racing" and "bee rev limiter" here in the forum and found these:

Hope that points you in the right direction. Might take some trial and error on your part, as this doesn't look like a very common install for DSMs - haven't been a lot of threads on it here over the years, probably since many go the route of ECMlink or another tuning solution and the get rev limiter that way. You might have to do the legwork and share your findings with us.

Thank you and I will gladly share what I find im not alone on this endeavor my sisters boyfriend is doing the same so if we figure it out i will update the post

Update
So far not much good has happened... I got in touch with an electrician he said basically where the ignition signal connects... (If looking for more info on that refer to the links kindly posted for me to use earlier in the feed detailing the wiring so I'm not going into that) but where i was told to connect the ignition signal wire from the power builder was to both pin one and 3 on the coil pack since its a dual coil pack it has a different grounds for each set of firing cylinders. He said it makes most sense to split it to both grounds. I have yet to test this theory my dumbass shut my hood on my limiter and broke it.
My sisters boyfriend is still attempting to figure it out I on the other hand went and purchased an omex rev limiter specifically designed for dual coil packs paid 100 dollars more for it but it is way more simple. Its all explained in English with tutorials on YouTube and easy to understand instructions as soon as I have it installed I will inform the community of how it works.
SIDE NOTE: anyone who ever said to adjust coilovers ride height by simply matching it up to your previous strut assembly thank you for turning my car into a monster truck worst advice ever doing the work twice now

So update the bee*r and knockoffs are a total pain in the ass still no luck. I finally received my omex clubman rev limiter with launch control the one I purchased is specifically meant for dual coil ignition systems. I have successfully installed it and the options are pretty cool you can choose between hard and soft cut options and can fully customize your actual rev limit and individually set your launch control using the provided button. I however ended up wiring the 12v positive from the clubman directly to the ecu main power white and black cable forgot pin location. I highly recommend this rev limiter and launch control for now more updates as I continue using it other than that heres a link to the clubmanhttps://www.demon-tweeks.com/us/omex-clubman-rev-limiter-with-launch-control-245992/
Keep in mind its a spark cut if you get to happy with the pedal you will flood your motor for this reason I chose the soft cut option everyone has their own preferences. Well until I update this thread any questions pm me.
Side note it ships from the UK I cant find anyone in the us with it yet pay attention to the item stock i didnt and it took me almost a month to get it due to them being out of stock when I ordered. When it finally shipped it took only 5 days to get here with the international shipping using parcel force but thats after waiting for it to be restocked so plan ahead if purchasing it
