I believe that was a supra.

That car is actually a 2g and is owned by a female in the Bay Area. Its definitely a really clean 2g.

Here is a clean looking 2g. Not "hella" flush but nice.

And some people need to chill out. Not everyone want to be 100% performance based with their mods. Some people like their cars to look different. And who cares what others want to do with their car, its not affecting any of you in anyway.

:hmm: thank you bro
thats one NOICE eclipse

I'm all for the flush look but I hate when people put wheels that are far too big for the car and require way too much camber to fit them. Wheels are supposed to fit on the car not make the car fit the wheels.

And stretched tires on a car that doesn't need it is also dumb in my eyes as in the 2g that was posted. That car can still rock unstretched tires and have that look. Stretched are for the people that want the wheel lip an inch or less from the fender.

Ugh... I dont feel so... I think I might... Brpgl... :barf:

Seriously, all I saw was a shit ton of perfectly good cars that are now good for nothing but driving nice and slow, in a straight line, on a perfectly level and dry surface, with no extra weight on the car.

You're going to get hate here. Most of these people are looking for practicality and performance. Most of the DSM crowd isn't going to foam at the mouth over every stupid fad, especially one that makes a car nearly undriveable.

This is retarded on so many levels. Here's a list of a few of the very many things that are wrong with it:

- Dangerous; incorrectly fitting tire has much higher chance of disastrous failure which could injure/kill you or whoever you run into on the road when your tire fails

- decreased performance - less traction, less grip in turns, overall lessens performance of the handling and traction of the vehicle

- improper tire wear - tires won't last as long, they will wear strange and improperly due to being the wrong size tire

- looks really stupid

Hella flush is what happens 2 hours after eating taco bell, and should never have anything to do with an automobile.

Get this crap off my DSMtuners.com and then get yo crap off my DSMtuners.com. Stop insulting the few 420A guys who are trying to make a name for themselves by proving 420A owners wish they had Civics.

I hope when you are stretching the tires on your hella-flush crap they blow off and clean remove your head.

I like it, not everyone has to like everything. A LOT of dsmers are and seem to be close minded. Sure it can be labeled a fad, but perhaps for this person it wont be a fad, and they will rock it for-ever? As long as it's not stretched too much, it will do for me.

To the OP, do what you like and go at it 100%. We need more DSMers who are less willing to follow the crowd. At the end of the day it is your car, and we are a bunch of screen names on a forum telling you our opinions.

Close minded? I think you meant "not stupid."

This is what Honda-Tech.com forum staff had to say. Yes I agree with a Honda guy for once.

The process is unsafe and it does not benefit anything to the performance of the vehicle.

All threads suggesting tire stretching will be deleted - Honda-Tech

Even they get it.

That tire was stretched too much for too long. In the video, the 2gb had a good lil stretch on it, now that is OK. And I meant what I typed. Lowering vehicles, also wrechs havoc on ball joints, yet everyone on here does it. And 2gs have problem with ball joints, and if that is not attended to, they too can fail, just like anything else.

Lowering vehicle, performance benefits. Hella flushing your vehicle, no performance benefits, poses danger to you and people driving near you, looks like crap, proves you are cheap. Your free to leave this performance oriented community anytime as well. I know where you can find a VW or two.

You are getting called out on this absolutely stupid comment. Now please justify for all these people here how me buying Konigs 18 x 8 with Nitto NT05s that are 235 40 18 95W is anything close to stretched. Please do enlighten us how my buying proper sized tires for my rims makes my statement hypocritical.

We are waiting...

I prefer to drive on the tread and let the sidewalls be sidewalls. Wide tires on narrower wheels looks pretty raw, but more for traction in race situations than anything. Also, it doesn't work vice versa. When you corner hard, you will essentially be driving on the sidewall. Whats the traction rating for the sidewall on any certain set of tires? How does the siping look on your sidewall? Is your sidewall 2ply or 10 ply? LOL I don't know about anyone else, but I've never seen the point in making my wheels stick out further than the tires. It greatly increases the chance of blowing the bead, hurting the rim, destroying the tire during agressive driving, and kills the engineering behind the sidewall stiffness. I'm not narrowminded, it's just simply stupid and uneducated to drive with this type of setup.

It's about as smart as removing your factory crash bar behind the front bumper cover and putting a fuel cell in it's place. A+ for epic failure.

I prefer hellafunctional over hellaflush, however you guys need to be less hateful, cause I'm really sick of seeing people get flamed on here, cause the hangout isn't what it used to be.

I've thought about some MILDLY deep dish wheels for my TSI, im not sure.

Herrafrush tends to be more a JDM thing, which as everyone knows dsmers and dsms are not.

Man there are some angry people in this forum. I personally like the clean look. There's clean and sexy and there is overdoing it. If you can't drive your car comfortably then that's too much. A LITTLE stretch and a LITTLE camber never hurt anyone. Nice stance , nice wheels = sexy. What's wrong with that? The only ugly things about these cars from factory are the wheels. Why not change them a bit. People are too close minded.

Is this the look you are after dream on wont happen it takes more than wide low offset wheels to pull this off notice its wide and flush just not stupid hellafush stretched kill myself at a moments notice with exploding tires because its stretched to the limit wont happen looks stupid on 1g/2g if you have an evo now thats a different story you can run 9-10.5 inch wide wheels and up to 285 wide tires but are you willing to spend 3-4k on wheels plus tires and suspension?I really don't think so hence the hostile responses you are getting sorry dude just not enough wheel well space for low offset wheels proper sized tire and suspension on dsm sorry don't take this personal.Closest you can come is probably like this 2g :D:D:hellyeah:
