headlights won't go down...

yeah im a newbie.... and i just got my 91 laser rs about a week ago and i just cant get the pop-up headlights to go down.....the fuse is not blown... the relay fuse is not blown... the wires to the button are all good.. i would do the manual knob thing but its just to hard to turn... what could it be? the motors could be blown or something... ? i dont know, i hope you guys can help me out cause i really want those headlights to go down... thanks...

Mine sometimes work and sometimes dont. Its possible that the motors are dead or that the wiring is just old.

what he said. Or it hates you My friends wouldn't go down and asked me to help him and as soon as i got there they went down. He also et a CEL and his car wont go past 2000 rpms then when i get there it stops altoghter and wont throw the CEL

take the pivot arm off each motor and WD-40 the crap outta the moving parts they should magically start working again.

This may seem too simple, but have you tried pushing the top button on the left side of the instrument cluster. This button locks and unlocks the headlights in the up possition.

well....... tried all those things and still no go.... i guess ill start with dissasembling the motors to see whats going on... unless theres another solution.... thanks anyway
