Over the weekend I took my headlights apart to paint the black and I resealed them with the clear rtv silicon as well as used the old glue. The seal is tight and looks to be as if there is no way for water to get it. After installing them it rained and both headlights filled up with condensation. Its not water in the light is just the condensation. Any ideas of what I could try to help keep it from happening? thanks

well they definatly didnt seal completely, or else condensation would'nt have gotten in. On a hot, dry day take the bulb covers off that are on the back to let all the condensation evaporate. Then place the caps back on. If condensation persists, replace or reseal them.

After heating and resealing the lens, let them sit in front of a register with the A/C on and blowing into the sockets for a few minutes, just prior to installing the bulbs.

its still not right if i spray water on them in the day they dont condensate, but once 7 or 8 comes around they start to from the bottom up, not making sense its almost like the paint heats up from the day sun/heat and dryes again at night and the seal being tight making it do that

You have water in them that's not having a chance to get out. Pull the bulb, hook a shop vacuum up to it so that it's circulating the air through it (not just sucking the socket) and let it run for a few minutes.

i took one of the bulb caps that you have to take off to get to the bulb, i took one off of each and not i get nothing, it rained, night time and all they are still dry with no condensation, I was thinking it was too tight and not air was getting in and with the hot days or cool nights it caused it due to no air getting it at all, so ill leave it as is until something happens
