My alternator belt squeels a bit too, i just cant find the time to fix it.

but regardless of rpm, speed, driving, sitting, idle, ect.
randomly the lights will dim, much like when you hit the brakes on some cars. just a split second dim.

odd.

If the alternator belt is loose, and you have a high demand for electricity, it can dim the headlights as it can't supply the proper regulated voltage.

Tighten that belt. Post your results

the alternator pretty much is your power source while your car is running so easy fix is to tighten that belt and it it doesnt work i would check all the connections for bad ones, and if you dont find any get a new alternator. :)
