Replaced my headgasket about a week ago and i got close to 150 miles on it.. I reused my head bolts,..
Anyways; i replaced it, and my buddy took it to get inspected. Well, It overheated on him and i took it to my work (dodge) to put it up on the lift and look around.. No milky oil at the time.. i took valve cover off because i saw a OIL leak coming from the headgasket. I retorqued my head bolts down because they got loose.
*** This is where i believe i went wrong.. They loosened up so im assuming the bolts were stretched.
Well, I now bought a new HG, a new pump and head bolts. And i'm going to check my head for warpage.
How can i flush this milky oil/coolant mixture out? I just drained the coolant, i think ill clean the head up; dunk it in oil and clean the valve cover. Fill back up with fresh oil, drain and repeat till the oil looks brand new..
What do you guys think?
Brownies?
