alright i was wondering what power diffferences
there are in 4-2-1 and 4-1 headers?

ive heard that one gives more topend butu im not really sure. a link to a website with comparisons or a bit of info would be nice. thanks
 
well reading that thread as well as other threads has yet to yeild any real information directed towards 4g63 N/T header. i have found a pacesetter header for my car but it looks to be a 4-1, id like to have a
4-2-1 from the information that i have gathered. any websites that have them for the 1G?

I had a Greddy header on my GS and I honestly have to say it didn't do anything performance wise. It looked better and made the exhaust tone a little deeper but as far as performance....I got squat. I dyno'd my car with another GS and we both put down 133.......we both had CAI, cat-back and I had a header. Just my $.02
 
well i got a pretty bad exaust leak, so its for more than just performance. if it does add hp all the better, but the pop pop pop sound as i let out the gas or press the clutch is embarassing. kinda like how the 2nd gear grind was, till i got used to it.

Can you find it and weld it? My N-1 cracked and was leaking bad......just welded it back up and it was good to go...
 
i dont have jackstands or ramps. and living in a apartment complex that will fine you for working on your car its worse. that and with the 1g manifolds prone to cracking so much imight as well shell out a bit more for something better than oem.:dsm:
