Header/Cat Install

I have a 2.5" diameter cat-back exhaust. I am looking to upgrade to a 2.5" diameter high-flow cat and DC Sports header. What is the diameter of the header pipe that connects to the cat? Will it bolt up to a 2.5" cat or will modifications have to be made?

it will all bolt up but it will only be 2.25 inch downpipe. i havnt found a 2.5 inch yet. i was under the impression that the obx header and downpipe was 2.5 but when i got it, i measured it and its only 2.25. no big deal really.

wow doug get hes computer runnin and hes burnin eveybody oh and chris, so so you know you where wrong about the rps, but they closed the thread before i could correct you hehehe its Max engine speed MT 7300 rpm (electronically limited)
Max engine speed AT 6464 rpm (electronically limited)

its allright cant allways be right

your correcting me over 36 rpms, and 100 rpms? look at a tach on an auto and i bet you cant tell its 6464 instead of 6500
