Finally taking my 6262 1g to the track tonight. I finished my tune the other night and have the springs in my MVR maxed out at 30psi. I need to swap my other springs in to get back to 37. I doubt the track will even hold the 30 pounds on my Azenis 615's. Hoping for something in the high 10 second bracket, but we'll see! I'll have my new GoPro2 along with and will post video up tomorrow!!:thumb: BTW, I'm headed to Numidia if anyone else is interested in going.

If you get booted, I'll know it was a good night;)

hope all went good jon, cant wait to get mine to the track

Well... I made two "getting to know you" passes since I've never tracked the car. The first pass was a 12.10@114, shifting around 7200. The second pass was a 11.59@125, shifting around 8100. Both of these passes required 1-2 second delays between shifts because of clutch and syncro issues. The 3rd pass before eliminations I decided I would throw everything at it and see what it could do, came out of the hole 5250 took it to 9100 in 1st, grabbed 2nd as fast as it would let me and it sat on the limiter. My spec 2.5+ clutch was toast. The previous owner installed the clutch, but it's no match for the 6262 being a 400hp clutch at best. I have gopro video which ill get up asap. With a twin disc and a Shep stage 4 I know ill be in the 10's at well over 130. My last run when the clutch gave out was still 12.0@114, I milked it for all it was worth, funny video!

Gonna need to make a lot more power to trap more than 130. I was in this same exact spot. My xtd clutch was slipping and I thought it was keeping my mph down..put in twin disc, and it trapped exactly the same.

What's this thing weigh? What fuel?

I still have 8# to go on my tune, but I need to add another spring to get there. I picked up 11 MPH from one pass to the next just shifting higher and a little faster without being abusive, this trans locks me out and I fall out of boost long before it goes to the next gear. The trans is the issue as well. I'm not using nlts either. I know it has 130 in it the way it sits on the same tune. It has also not been on the dyno, this is all street tuning done by me.

I never got on the scales, but its full weight. On E-90.

Yeah at full weight your gonna need to make 550 or so to go 130. I'm sure a clutch and shifting faster will help some, but don't expect it to be worth 5mph or anything. I can see how you gained 11 from the first pass. 7200 is way low for that size turbo. I have to take my hy35 to 8000 just to keep it in the power. My old man kept naggining me that I was winding it too high, so I made a pass shifting at like 7k, and it was about the same, knocked 10mph off the traps.

Any idea what RPM it was going thru the traps at?

I know its making good power,my logs are showing 64+lb/min @ 29.5 psi. I believe I was rolling thru around 7900 or so. I wasn't really paying attention. Ill just have to see what it'll do next year. I know there's a lot more left in it.

I'll chime in because our turbo's are pretty close in size.

You definitly have 130 + mph in that turbo the way it sits. Your first time out matched my first time out to a "t" and within 3-4 passes I have not been under 130mph. At 27psi I trapped as high as 137 on street tires, street tune, no alignment, not using nlts, and 3200 lbs...

Replace your clutch, change your syncro's, and rev a little higher.
