ok so i have my 98 GS had it for awhile and now a guy is selling a gsx 95 that the timeing belt slipped off, the price is 3900 but im seeing for 3300
i know that the minium damage that could have happened would just require a new timeing belt and tensior but whats the worst that could happen other than needing a new head because the guy has a complete spare head to go wit the car.
if i just switched them out how long and hard would it be for me to do. i have a decent amount of knowledge on cars and have sum firends to help that know chevy but not dsm cars.
would it be worth selling my GS and getting the GSX and havin a shop put the head on (got quoted for 700$) or just sticking wit my GS till i find a running GSX for a decent price
