I am in the process of pulling my motor I took all the proper measures labeling all of the wires and bagging and labeling the bolts since this is my first time I have a few questions any help would be greatly appreciated.

I went to pull the axle's and the socket I was told that would fit wouldn't. It said 23mm but the auto parts store didn't have it they said 1 1/4 would work as well what size is it?

The rotor assembly along with the axle nut spins while the car is in gear why is this and how do I stop it so I can remove the nut.

Loosening the nut is normally best done with it still on the ground, or with an impact gun. But if you are relying on a breaker bar you can stop it from rotating by having someone step on the brakes. Or set something heavy on the pedal.

It is normal for it to spin. Have someone push the brakes and it should stop, or even better, use an impact. The axle nut should be a 32 mm, not a 23 mm

Is it normal for it to spin shouldn't it not move?
what size is the nut?

Can't help you on the nut size as i haven't pulled an axle in a while.

But yes it is normal for it to spin, what does it do while its running and in gear? spinning. It just has power behind it then.

Pop the center cap out of your wheel, put it on the car and lower back onto the ground. Then try using a breaker bar and a long cheater pipe. Probably want to soak the nut in some pb blaster over night.

Cheater pipes and lot's of lube will definitely be your friend.
