Hatch Removal

We are attempting to remove the rear hatch on 90 Talon. Is there a connector (maybe in the headliner) so we can disconnect the wires to the stop lamp and rear wiper motor. Can find no connections around where the hatch and roof meet, just the rubber grommets.

pull out the rubber grommets. I haven't done this on an eclipse but if they weren't there the grommets would pop back in without messing any thing up. I am sure you will find them in there though.
