Hard start after 14b swap?

Just wanted to ask if anyone has ever run into what I have had recently with my swap. Swap went perfect, minor boost leak due to my lack of getting some clamps tight, other then that perfect. Since I swapped, I have been having a hard time with the car starting, and its very consistent. It will roll over, fire, and die. roll over again, fire, and die faster. Third try, it fires up like its a brand new car! I was wondering if maybe during a misfire that showed me my boost leak, if the car could of jumped its timing and thats whats causing the car to start hard. It only happens on a cold start after sitting for a day, even if I wait like 6 hours it doesn't seem to do it, but If it sits overnight when I try to start it the next day it does as I described. I did have 3 misfires before I found my boost leak. Thanks for taking the time to read.

Could possibly be a coolant temps sensor acting up or fuel pressure taking a while to get up.

You said you have misfires so how old are the plugs and what do you plug wires look like. Sometimes it can be something that just failed at the exact same time you did the work and its not actually tied to anything you did.

well I replaced my plugs with NGK BPR6ES gapped and put in, I have the wires, they came today, will try putting those in tomorrow to see if that might be the problem. Im sort of hoping it is, altho im a bit sceptical. I guess I am still happy overall with how it went. I don't have misfires now, only when I had a boost leak that has since been fixed. Thanks again for your time.
