anyone want to hit me up
My gamer tag is 'Kool Trav'As much as I love Halo 3 I need to vent...
The ranking system is very flawed when it comes to who you play and who you don't. Half the games me and my friend play we get matched up with people who restarted their account and you can tell they use to be a general or close to it. I mean C'mon getting matched up against a guy who's got 128 exp. and has only played 141 games (and already a lvl 50) that's just bulls***! He's obviously gonna out BR me every time!
What's with people selling level 50 accounts, and what's worse is the people who actually buy them. I mean if you can't get to lvl 50 on your own whats the point of buying one? So people can think your good? even though it's going to be obvious you bought it after the game is over and you have 7 kills with a spread of -4
I'm also getting sick of these new maps, that's all you play anymore, they suck! (sandtrap is alright)
Anyone agree, disagree?
I've reverted from halo 3 and play mostly cod4. But I actually played halo 3 just a little while ago for the first time in like 5 months.
edit... my gamertag is gsx16g add me and ill play in a little while. I'm headed to the bar to play some darts. I just started this account a month ago so my rank is only a 20 in mlg ts right now. I would play more if I had people to play with.
What do you guys think of Halo:ODST? I just got it...it kind of disappointed me for $60.
My friend is probably going to buy it. What does it offer as far as multiplayer?
).As far as multi-player goes, Bungee once again amazed me. The Fire Fight mode is amazing, and it is very traditional Halo like, with way more killability(if that's a word).
Think about Sam Fischer, on human growth hormones, with way more weapons and play tactics. It is hard to explain, but if you solely buy games for the multiplayer, this one will not disappoint.
Just the overall game kind of bored me, very repetitive, but what game isn't now a days? There was alot left to be desired in the campaign. I beat it on Normal in under 4 hours of gameplay. But if you are a Halo fan like me, and have read all of the books, then this will explain what happened between Halo:2 and Halo:3...
Yeah, the whole "we want $60 for a game thats worth about $30" is what turned me off. If the campaign would have been full length like any of the previous halo's, I would have the game right now. But 4 hours? Are you shitting me? They claim "8 hours if you take your time", but still. This is supposed to be their apology for Halo 3 sucking like it did? Bungie have become lazy, greedy bastards. The next halo game they make, damn well better be on par with Halo 1 or Halo 2.
To be honest, my philosophy is, if you have to question if it's worth $60, then it isn't worth it. When you have a game you KNOW is worth $60, you don't question crap. You just run out and buy it, and bungie hasn't given me that since Halo 2. I thought Halo 3 was going to be like that.
Anyone still play?
