Hey Guys...Looking for any anyone w/ experience installing this Hahn kit. I started it in stage 1 configuration...

I only have my boost guage connected so far (and that was incorrectly connected off of the W/G actuator because I thought it would be more accurate) for readings. Pyro gauge is mounted but waiting for the probe kit and A/F gauge that should arrive on Friday.

The turbo spools up quick and is pretty responsive but I think I am hitting Fuel-cut sometimes @ 3000 rpm as the engine will buck for a split second unless I stomp my foot in it or let off and allow the BOV to depressurize the manafold.

Since pushing the excelerator to the floor seems to over-ride it, I am weary of the MAS sensor. Can the TPS sensor over-ride the readings of the MAS sensor and over-ride fuel cut...?

Thanks in advance for any info...

Your slight stutter, may even be a spark plug issue. I would throw a set of new plugs in it and see if it fixes that.

I did replace the plugs directly after the turbo install but did not replace the wires...they are about 3 years old now...I'll try that...

OK. I replaced the plug wires and regapped my new plugs to .028... I also got a chance to play w/ my DSM this weekend and made some head-way! I recieved the EGT sending unit and harness and connected that up. But more importantly, I FOUND MY PROBLEM causing the "BUCKING/FUEL-CUT"!!! The Fuel Mapper w/ this Hahn Kit, I HAD CONNECTED TO THE TPS NOT THE MAP SENSOR!!! The TPS is on the drivers side of the throttle body and the MAP is on the pass side. The Hahn instructions simply just described the shape of the sensor...I made a bad guess...

But back to the EGT gauge and harness, I decided to tap the exhaust pipe just below the downpipe next to the O2 sensor instead of the manafold itself or the creramic coated downpipe. I understand that my temp readings will be lower, but as long as I make a reference, does it matter...? Should I have tapped the downpipe...? Or should I have tapped the manafold itself like a professional install...? I can easily plug off the 17/64" exhaust hole I made if I change my mind...

I did the same thing. FYI the diagram shows the wires are color coded which mine were not. In other words Black doesn't go to black and red doesnt go to red. You might call Hahn to ensure it wired right.

Why'd you even bother with the egt? Should have got a wideband.

I plan to and that is my next step before I install the I/C stage II components. I was looking at the Zeitronix Zt-2 kit w/ LCD display (also thier MAS sensor for the PSI input). I see a lot of others express positive results w/ this W/B kit...

I'll keep the EGT in place unless I cut it over to the Zt-2 input (EGT probe can only have one termination, right?)
