So I read the Free mod section, and what does my lower honecomb look like, and what is this star shaped silencer they're talking about?
I have the same MAF as the turbo model, right?
Can I still do this?
Pics would be greatly appreciated.
What are the pros and cons to doing this?
Thanks guys.

your profile says your non-turbo, is that old or you really are N/A?

if youre n/a dont waste your time with that stuff, its intended for turbo cars and you wont see any gain from it.

I am N/A.
I just want some free mods for NT, but they don't exist.

Dude I'm not trying to be a d**k but you really need to use the search button. This is a topic that has been beaten to death numerious times.

I would take the silencer out of the back end of the MAS. But on a NA car I would not hack it and here's why. The original reason people began hacking the MAS was to aleviate fuel cut. On the turbo car you will hit fuel cut on the stock ECU at about 18-20 psi. This is to protect the engine from detonation and catastrophic failure. Taking out the honeycombs makes the ECU think there is less air coming into the engine therefore tricking it into raising the limit for fuel cut. Also, now it sees less air it also runs slightly leaner which is ok since the stock target is around 9.8:1 AFR on the turbo car. Since you are NT the best thing for you to do is put a K&N on it and call it a day. I've been there before my first DSM was a NT and there isn't much for them. Hacking the MAS is just going to make your car run worse than it does now.

Aw man,
Thanks.
I just, want to continue working on my car, but I am really done.
I have all the mods that could be done to my car, It's a shame.
Time to go turbo I guess.

Well if you are seriously serious about going turbo there is plenty for you to work on.

But if I were you I would start working on your suspension setup. Get some good springs and shocks or coilovers. Remember that your suspension is the same as the GS-T setup and everything should bolt up the same. Get a good suspension under it and have fun in the twisties!
