i have an ecu for a 2g 420a n/t that i have transplanted an eprom chip into. the chip was originally put in another ecu i had but it turns out that one was fried before i sent it out. anyway, i got the chip taken out and put in a good ecu, and now the car won't run. i am assuming the chip dumped the program in the process?? does anyone know what i would need to reprogram it myself? i could probably send it back to the guy that originally did it, but i would rather be able to set it up and make changes myself. the chip is supposed to be like the TMO chips. i'm totally new to tuning, but been doing mechanics and machine work for years. any advice would be appreciated.

Those chips are like 2-6 bucks a piece. If you've already paid the guy to program one, hopefully he'll replace your fried one with a new one for little to no charge. If you want to burn it yourself, you'd have to have the bin file on your computer and get an external burner like this one.

nice car by the way. the guy didn't socket it, so i would need to prog it in the ecu (or in the car if i could get in with something like dsmlink) i am still poking around that website though, thanks for the link
