H1N1 anyone had it yet?

Hey MORK, read this.
Yup, I read it. I hope you didn't put too much stock into what is said there because if you do you are really not sufficiently informed enough about the issue to make cogent points without falling back on fallacious ignoratio elenchi and straw man arguments. Well, maybe you don't make those arguments but certainly it appears you fall for them.

The avian flu still exists, it is incredibly deadly, and it is still an issue for concern for policy makers and health professionals but it has fallen off the radar as newsworthy because developments in the story are blessedly minimal. What you need to understand though is that H1N1 is a progression of that story and that the mortality rate isn't the only thing that you need to look at here. When a large percentage of the population will become ill from this and it is bad enough to literally knock you on your ass and keep you in bed for a week then there will be significant other damage social and economic damages.

For everyone that chooses not to get a vaccination that is a personal choice, but please keep in mind that when you choose not to be vaccinated you are increasing the dangers that you pose to other people and helping to spread a damaging virus. Just consider it.

And yes I'm sure I know a lot more these outbreaks than you will ever know.

I don't even know what you're saying in this sentence, but I'm expecting that whatever you're trying to say is mostly bluster. I assume that you'll clarify and when you do please inform us of your experiences which make you qualified to "know a lot more (about? people with? ...?)".

FWIW I become immediately suspicious of any argument that includes globalist manipulation and conspiracy theories. That video reeks of "Truther" style arguments and misinformation.

The conspiracys run wild on both sides, and as ludacris said it wouldn't surprise me if this thing was created by some elite to gain from it, and when you have globalist elite such as Ted Turner among others saying the world is overpopulated and policys should be put in place...then....:hmm:

I can almost guarantee that he wasn't implying that someone created this. His statement that someone is likely taking advantage of this is almost certainly true, that is after all how a market economy works.

maybe he wasn't and I'm not either, but anything is possible

I go to PSU. I don't know how I don't have it yet. My sleep schedule is all wack, and I don't eat well.

Penn State has had more than 900 cases. They're just recommending self-isolation and rest. Just the usual flu treatment. Only 2 have been hospitalized, and IIRC, it's because they were dehydrated.

I just kinda wanna warn you guys about how much H1NFUN sucks. Seriously. I thought it was just like the normal flu... Nah, I can't even walk well. It also inflames your spinal cord and pushes on your nerves which makes EVERYTHING hurt. So dealing with chills, a constant fever of 103, not even being able to keep water down, nonetheless food. Having a headache and constant nausea, try to avoid this shit, and here's my warning, if you get any of these symptoms, don't wait, I did and it made it a hellova lot worse
I just came back from the hospital because I thought I was gonna die.

TAMIFLUftw

awww what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. I've had exactly what lofty has described x2. I had 103-104 degree fevers, feels like your brain is boiling/exploding, this will make grown men cry. All you do is fill your bathtub with cold water and jump in and chill for 5-10 minutes. Along with Ibuprofen it brings it down to a nice 99-100 for around 2-3 hours then do it again. Drink lots of water and piss and crap a lot. try to flush everything out. I've had this for 3-4 days and after the 4th day it goes away and your cool... Had it multiple times when there was not an epidemic. I never go to the hospital unless im missing a limb or got something in my eye.

I feel much better then I did, but I'm still not 100% but much better then I was. I had the high fever thing since Friday (103-104), which now seems to have settled (Monday night) tons of body aches (mostly lower back), headaches, amazingly no squirts or vomiting. I'm starting to get my appetite back. I've been drinking Gatorade like its free. Been eating popsicles like I'm Herbert the pervert from Family guy. I tell you what tho, friday and saturday nights were the most uncomfortable I've felt since the 7th grade dance. It has done some good in the fact I haven't had a cigarette since Friday, haven't even thought about it.

Well, my nephew was confirmed with it today, he is doing good so far, me and my whole family was exposed to him. Please pray for us all.
