My set up is similar but my windows are sealed and held in place by metal brackets I fabricated. The windows are not lexan either. I hope your car is for racing and very little street driving because this level of weight reduction is very dangerous in a car with out a roll cage. If you where to get hit with completely stripped doors there is almost no protection except for the lower frame rail under the door.

not completely but as you can see if i keep it im working towards the track only scene:D
the street is not for me anymore.. i like my rocket for cruising not my car

Something like this? Mine still retain the power windows and doorlocks which is nice.

No I think he means literally nothing. Just the door, no window controls, door locks, things like that....Could be wrong.

On another note, have you looked for lexan windows for your 1g? I know that it's not cheap for lexan on the 2g's. And you might be coming out cheaper with a hood.
