Guestion For 95 Gsx Tuners

What areas of this car are most prone to be problematic. Looking into buyin 1 soon.

Crankwalk is a big issue for 95-97 dsms, there is a lot of info on that out

hey i never had a problem with crank walk on my 95 gsx with 110,0000 miles but it was made in like april or nov of 94. There is a problem with rust in the passenger side engine bay strut mount. Water gets stuck in there and causes it to rust. it cost me liek 400.00 to fix. This seems to be the main problem for 95's but it shouldnt stop you from getting one. I love my 95. I like the rear bumper on 95's better than the 97's but i like the 97's front bumper better which is why i switched mine over. Also you''lll prob have an oxidation problem in the headlights of 95's which makes the head lights look sick. but you can always clean that out or convert over to 97's. they look good. Everythign else is great about them.... ask me if you have any other questions, i'll be glad to help you out

Pay no attention to him. For every crankwalk victim there are many more who are fine, like my 136k 95 GSX. Compression was 165 across the board as well.

Please god not that word.... CRANKWALK ! If i read it again im going to .. Just search for crankwalk and you will know what i mean. "most prone to be problematic" put it this way the more stuff you do to it the more problematic it becomes.

Though it doesn't have the most truest samples, it still paints the picture. Those without CW outnumber those with CW. CW can be related to something like SARS. Yes there was a panic about it, some low percentage of people who had it died (I think like 5%, could be wrong though) and everybody was panicking, even here in the U.S. CW is similar, having the good outweigh the bad by a decent margin and people are still freaking out about it. It is overrated, but CW should not be happening this often in the first place.

wow, he actually tried to call 1995 eclipse gsx tuners specifically to help him.. well i own a 1996 so i wouldnt know anything about the 1995 cars.. sorry i couldnt help, maybe if your looking at a 96 sometime, BUT its gotta be a talon, becuase i dont have an eclipse either, and i heard they were way different.
