I have a header intake and exhaust and am looking to make moderate horsepower for autocross. i called over at gude performance and i can get a set of cams and throttle body for around 750. they estimate around 35+ horsepower and reliability for daily driving. I also am building a turbo kit at the same time. i guess my question is should i save the money for the turbo kit or get some quick decent power from the cams and throttle body first for a good turbo set up or just go all out turbo?

Big NT cams are typically bad for turbo setups. You may be able to get away with them with cam gears to adjust the overlap, but they won't ever be as good as cams designed for a turbo app. The stockers are most likely better than an aggressive NT cam too.

It's up to you, but for $750 you'll be going faster if you skip all that and finish your turbo.
