GSX rims on a talon.

so i have two things:

1) does anyone know if the center caps(the little mitsu symbol) come off on the GSX stock rims?

2) do you guys think it looks kinda tacky with GSX rims on a Eagle talon?

I personally dont think it is tacky. Their the same car except for the exterior pieces. Taillight harnesses ect. You know what i mean.

The only problem with gsx rims is they are prone to bending so watch for pot holes.

I've got a set. They're not that fabulous. Three of them are bent slightly, but I really like the way they look. Right now, I'm tacky, and running a pair of them up front while I wait for my poor alignement/camber to wear out the cheap tires on my aftermarket 17s on the back. Still, I like the look of these.

There's a guy here with a white Talon running thee painted white and, let me tell you, they lok awesome. I had his profile bookmarked, but the recent changes to the forum messed up those links. Spend some time in the galleries and you'll see them.

Yes the center comes out. You may end up breaking the little clip that holds them in, but thats ok, because you can just make a new one out of a paper clip.

They are great looking rims (but then again, I'm biased). Just swap in your Eagle center cap and watch out for those pot holes. Don't get scared though, because they don't really bend that bad. If you are worried about it though, just get some 3g rims... basically the same, just one-piece instead of two-piece.

yeah, im not sure on what im going to do. It just seems like i might get torched for having talon symbols all over the cars, then little Mitsu ceter caps on the rims. BUT, i think i might still go with them.

I like how the last two pics show a bent wheel. Mine still aren't bent (yet). Watch those pot holes.

I just put a set on mine. I like them.

The set I got had signiffigant damage to the lips. A plastic hammer and a few other tools and you can barely tell they were ever bent.

Just as an aside, center caps are freaking expensive from the dealership. So don't break any. I had to buy four new ones for $44.84. The springs are $2.28 each if you break any.

and just a heads up....the ebay link posted has wheels from a 00-05 eclipse. they are not GSX wheels. you can look at the spokes how they round off at the end where as the pic of the ones on the white talon are flat all the way up and dont curve at the lip. just a little .02 cents to keep in mind.
