gsx body kit on tsi?

this morning some moron hit me and my fenders, door, side skirt, and bumper are completly trashed. I wanted to get a whole new body kit but I don't like the rear of how the talon looks (where the license plater go and how there is no center light like the gsx). If I got a gsx bumper and gsx tail lights, would it bolt right on? Or need custom work done? Thanks for the help guys

IT will not just bolt on. You will have to drill out the spot welds the upper bumper mount on and reweld it in place.

Or you could get a piece of flat stock from home depot and make yourself a bracket. All you need to do is raise the mounting point a few inches for the center of the bumper cover.

Also when I did this on my 95 awd the rear tail lights are wired slightly differently between the eclipse and talon (I had used 2gb taillights, not sure if 2ga differ at all) I can't recall exactly how though... I want to say the Eclipse two took inputs for some lights, so it required two separate signals one of which I think comes off a separate relay, but the Talon lights and wiring only uses one. I think I fixed it by just splicing a talon light wire into two inputs on the eclipse taillight. Don't take my word for it... hopefully someone here will explain, or you can figure it out when you get going on the project. If I recall I wasn't able to get the rear eclipse taillights to light up exactly like stock but they looked/worked fine so it was a non-issue for me.

I don't know why you would like to change that sexy stock looks of talon or eclipse from 97-99. I would do conversion before anything.
