Here's the question. doing some research i came across a theory. I am building my n/t for autocrossing, well I read that n/t are better at a degree than turbos at cornering and here is why. If i am not mistaken having too much horsepower is not a great thing in autocross, whiling taking sharp corners n/t (which obviously have less hp) power down quicker which gives it more control, and the ability to launch quicker out of turns, on a straightaway not as great but in the corners, more efficient?
let me know your opinions

Woah, calm down buddy; I can barely understand what you are saying. But I don't forsee a GS being a faster than a GST in autocross for any reason.

Do not let my run on sentences intimidate you. :laugh:

My buddy autocrosses his GSX and when i had a N/T he said i should come along sometime the N/T are almost as efficent as the Turboed Cars sometime better depending on the driver. most of the time you wont be going higher than third gear. soo its up in the air. but people do Auto-x N/T's

To quote autocross.dsm.org; N/T's are overweight and underpowered to be a truly competitive car worth its salt.

If all you want to do is play around, it doesn't matter what you pick.

They are not in the same class, so there's no point even comparing them. The GS is in H stock and the GST is in G stock:

If you move into street prepared, the GS 8 valve (gen 1 only) goes into FSP and the GS 16 valve goes into DSP, while the GST goes into ESP:

So, apparently the SCCA thinks the GST is a little faster than the GS on an autocross course. So go out there and beat on some AMC Gremlins, Ford Aspires, and Geo Metros. Actually, it looks like the Mini Cooper non-S pretty much dominated H stock this year at Nationals, so now you have your target.
