i searched but got nothing. i read somewhere that to install a greddy type rs bov onto the 1g flange, you could just drill holes in it and dont need an adaptor. can this be done with teh type s? also, has anyone else done this?

Yes, it's been done. The Greddy bolt holes are closer together than the 1g BOV bolt holes. Some have found that it's best to offset the new Greddy holes so that you can reinstall a 1g BOV later without a hole under the valve (read: putting the the new holes directly in line with the stock ones will cause a boost leak).
