Greddy type s and adapter wont install

Ok so while trying to install my type s bov and adapter flange, with my stock 2g uicp, I ran into some problems. I think it just be the adapter I bought, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. Here's the exact flange i bought TURBO BLOW OFF VALVE FLANGE 1?3/8 FITS GREDDY NEW : eBay Motors (item 230361848520 end time Feb-23-10 15:44:12 PST)
The flange seems to be not wide enough and too tall for the stock uicp. By that I mean i does not fit snug like the stock 2g. I even tried using RTV to seal it. Also is it ok to just use a plane bolt or the adjustment on the greddy type s? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The one in the eBay link looks slightly different from the one that you need. Here's the one that GReddy used to include with their 2G Type-S kit.

I ran into the same problem and used the rubber gromet off the stock BOV and put it over the adapter before installing it and now fits just fine.

Yea see that looks more like what I need, If greddy made it for the 2g im sure it works. What should I do just put alot of RTV on it or just look for one like that?

That's what I was thinking, I haven't cut any corners yet and I don't think ill start here. Any idea of where to find a good deal on the correct one? I know Dejon sells them but im looking to save a little money sense I got screwed over on the first adapter.
