I am wondering what this wire is for? I know the RED is constant 12v, GREEN is a switchable 12v (on/off with car), but what is this white wire for? It is for a 95 Eclipse GST, Part #15930013. Please let me know. Thanks in advance DSM'ers!

Please do not bump your own threads, let alone change the font to an inappropriate size.

For your question though, did it not come with instructions? If all else fails go to Greddy's website or call them, easiest way to go about things then waiting all day on a forums where people work during the day and cannot answer your questions.

Yes, it did come with instructions, IN CHINESE! I did call Greddy and looked all over for info and was not successful! Also, I posted this 2 days ago with no replies, so yea, I posted a reply to see if anyone can help. Thanks for your input though. P.S. I do know how to search for things(with no luck), I just wanted to see if anyone else with a DSM knew what this wire was for. :thumb:

Study this diagram i gave you

This looks like you have the turbo timer harness that ONLY comes sold seperately which is a pain in the ass to use, (alot of digging) Here is a pictture of what you have....

Cross reference these i pointed out the numbers. In the manual i linked, they tell you to cut the thing off, and not even use it. Youll see

I would use the harness if you got it though. !!

I guess its better because you dont need to solder or search for single wires, i was jsut mad i didnt get it!

The two circles in this pic are connect stock. A male and female connect, you got a female and male to put in between (oval)

Thank you GS. I do have that same diagram from my turbo timer, and yes, this harness is the optional one. I was a bit confused by the extra wire between the 2 diagrams so I called Greddy and they couldn't even tell me/help with what this wire was for. LOL I hope the sizing of my letters are OK now. I don't want to hurt anyones feelings. :|

its just like the gray wire on the safety harness, it is japenese spec only. Ill double check when i get home and look at my TT. Anyway, good luck, make sure you have a good ground, or it will mess up.

I am going to use it ! I HATE when people botch up their wire harnesses with 1/2 azzed (not a typo, didn't want to swear. LOL) soldering jobs/ hacked wires, So I try to do everything on my car the right/correct way. :hellyeah:

another thing, that small 3-pin with the red, blue, green also has wires spliced out, thats if you mount your timer box too far away from the 3-pin connect and it cant reach your power harness to your box. So you have to run single wires from each red, green and blue, but i dont see the blue on yours?

Look at the first pic, you can see the blue wire there. In the second pic if you look closely, it is under the green wire on the 3 wire side. Oh wait, your saying that it's not branching off like the other 2 wires with the female connections. I was told by Greddy that they are for other items being plugged in there so you don't have to look for another 12v constant and 12v switchable source.

I lengthened my harness on the turbo timer side. I will use those female connectors to splice into for something else :thumb:

Sounds good, but where would you ever use another constant? also where would you use another switchable? I power gauges leds off the headlight switch, and i use the switchable just as a power source for something with a toggle switch still in-line. Good luck tho!

You can use them for ANYTHING. I run my Greddy EBC off of the switchable and 12v constant so it turns off and on with car.

hmm wait, i think my viper alarm is powered by a constant, when in off postion right? so it can still work when thec ars off obviously.hahah
