Greddy turbo timer install

I"m trying to install a greddy turbo timer on my 96 GST the instructions that came with it say there is 4 or 5 wire ignitions (mine is 6?) so i was wondering if anyone has installed one of these that can help me out.

Go buy the harness for it. It is only ten bucks or so and makes it a plug and play install. I would never try to hardwire under the dash with no room when the plug is cheap and works just the same.

seriously. I put it on mine, and doing it without the harness makes it 10,000 x more difficult. Maybe your an eclectrician, but i would get the harness.

^ what those 2 said....it will take you literally like...30 minutes for the wohle install w/the harness...otherwise hardwiring will take a couple hours...so lets see...30 minutes to install w/1.5 hours to play around with it...or...2 hours to install.....hm.....ill take e 30 minute install...

I have a 96 gst also. I bought the greddy turbo timer and have the harness, but no instructions at all. I read over the instalation guide for the hks one on vfaq, but am still lost. Can ne of u help?

I posted the entire manual for the older (blue case) in the tech article section under interior exterior.
If you have a newer one, maybe Greddy has them up in PDF on its website, or a fellow user might could scan it in and add it to the forum?

looks like the new profec b spec 2s (the new silver and black)?
or like the older profec bs that came in black and blue?

Yes it looks exactly like my profec b, so new style. I'm ####in pissed to high hell. THe damn steering column screws are a pita. Bought ready to rip the ####ing thing off.

If you have the right tools and T's it should take about 30 min to an hour without the harness. I think i just weired up 3 or 4 wires right under the steering colum.
