I just picked up a Greddy 18v FMIC and i was wondering what horsepower these intercoolers can handle. Im on a T28 and never plan to upgrade thus, the reasoning behind the small Greddy. I can use my a/c and do not overheat even with the 100+ degree weather. Just wanting to kow a little more about it.

Well I wanted the Greddy because of its tube and fin design. Which allows more flow to the condenser and radiator. I also dislike it because of the piping. Looks like the underside of house. LOL

Glad to see it is working out good for you man. Did you ever get a read on your IAT to see if it has lowered? Bought my ETS kit and a TIAL BOV should be getting shipped tomorrow. At least you don't have go be worried about over heating since that was your main concern when we were putting it in. DDSM sure has been dead lately.

Real dead. Not sure why. Still havent had a chance. My laptop wont stay on for more than 10 min at a time the battery is ####ed. Yes, im pleasantly pleased that their is no overheating. Especially with this 104-108 degree weather.

Guess you called it quits on the Hahn SMIC. The 18V should be good 17-19 psi. One thing I'll give GReddy intercoolers is that they are very light.
The way i saw it was that there is no way I could duct enough air into that little vent to keep it cool during boost. I would have to cut the bumper. Spidergst is a close friend and we worked a deal. Some people say from what i read that the core is better on the small one than the larger one.
Is it in an upgrade from the bar and plate HAhn? I honestly couldnt answer right now, as my clutch is slipping. Im trying to get rid of this knock i get in 4th after a few runs on the highway. Which is due, in my mind, to heatsoak.
