Ok, I'll ask the stupid question....
Doesn't the computer use the same sensor to determine speed that it uses to determine when to govern the top end of the car? I mean, I know the speedometer and the odometer are connected, so if you put bigger tires on your car your speedo becomes inaccurate (it reads slower and your odo spins slower) and I would assume the same hods true for the governor.
But then again, I could just be ignorant
