What's up guys. I just got new shifter cables for my 91 eclipse. The production date is 10/90. I got the from extreme psi and just wanted to know a lil info. In the car now the shifer cables inside the cabin have 1 adjuster on each cable. Wel the ones i got from them only has one cable with it. Are theses the right cables. If so which cable goes where.

I have a 1g and i was in the same spot mitsu no longer makes them with adjusters on both so we are SOL.

well so i guess you don't need to adjust both huh? They just can't stop making it if you need to right? I think if i could i would pick up this 1g and put it right into a dumpster biggest headache of my life... Goes without saying im not married LOL

The two adjustment type cables are from a 90 and super early 91. Everything else has the single adjustment type. The adjustment is used with the cable to your left when sitting in the car. If you have the two adjustment type shifter assy in the cabin you need to swap it out for a 91.4-94 piece with the single adjustment. You may also need to swap the cable to tranny mount for the single adjustment cable as well. you can put the double adjust in your mount but the spacing between the cables is wrong making the shift geometry wrong. This only needs to be taken into account when swapping 91-94 tranny. onto a 90 model. or vice versa. You will have to check the tenth digit on the tranny to verify the year. There is a guide on here for that.
