I was going to sell my old 90 gst to this dude that had been driving me nuts wanting it, it had jumped time and bent a few valves, well anyway I let him take the car before he paid for it ($300 and he was to do my t-belt stc), the day he got the car he quit his job at the dsm race shop and split, I found him 3 months later, last night and I jumped in the car and took off. This morning I took a good look at it and it seems screwed, it is blowing white smoke out the exhaust pipe and out the little crank case breather tube on the side of the valve cover, white smoke shoots out while the car is running, it has no boost, the gauge goes to zero and stops, it runs smooth but has little power.

Any ideas on what it could be, maybee a bad turbo and rings.

a couple of things... check the compression, check your gaskets on the head, valve cover, etc, check your turbo, and check everything you have already checked again.

btw, would you care to elaborate a little on this story? how did you find this dude? didnt you report your car stolen? whats the deal here?

Yea he drove it hard, it has nitrous on it now(no bottle though), I guess I will part it out now along with the nitrous stuff.

I did a stupid deal by letting him take it along with the title in the glove box that i forgot about, when I remembered about the title, I could not get in touch with him to get it back, and I did not know the vin or tag number(besides I do not like cops), and I knew I could track him down, my best friend does skip trace for a living, and if he forged my name on the back of the title, I could get it straitened out as soon as I found the car.

He worked for a dsm shop and I thought he would be stoaked to get a gst that cheap and would be grateful and help me out with my new awd, boy was I wrong OMG

sucks it had to happen that way. may as well part it out or something. you could try selling it to a junk yard to, might get you a few hundred for it. the dude definately raped this car while he had it, which is sad cause there are less and less of these things on the road all the time.
