The boost gauge I got came to me, before I installed it it showed being in the vac at 5, is this bad, so should I assume that its readding 5 off then it should.

Agreed.97whitesi said:its damaged. Get a refund for it.
it should be at 0 if it were properly calibrated/not broken.

Not really. I would just trash it (or use it as a underhood pressure gauge during boost leak tests) and get a new gauge.DSM-Talon said:well if i cant get a refund can I just go by the -2.5 thing? so what would 8psi be?

Didn't know the T25 was so durable.andymoraitis said:For as long as you and I have been site members...
My suggestion for your next step is a boost leak test. For like 2 minutes i ran with the bov barely attacthed it wasnt a big deal, I was able to fully attach it with a rubber adapter i had.
