Gorilla lug nuts on 1G with Evo 8 wheels(red lug nuts)

Ok so I bought Evo 8 wheels and am wondering if the Gorilla "tuner" style lug nuts from STM will work with these wheels? I've done some research and most people say any "tuner" style lug nut will work but I just wanted to get everyones opinion before I go and blow my $$$ Lol. Also wondering if anyone has a pic of the Evo 8 wheels with red lug nuts on them

Tuner lugs WILL NOT work with OEM Mitsu Evo wheels because of the acorn shape the have. You need to run OEM lugs with Evo wheels, it doesn't matter if they are OEM Evo lugs but they need to be flat with a washer. The Evo wheels use a Mag type seat so if you run tuner lugs you will dig into the metal of the wheel.

So what lug nuts can I use? What lug nuts are you running?

Damn I don't have any options, guess I can just get the stock ones powder-coated or something.

Yep, thats all you can do if you have to get colored lugs is powder coat them. Spending that much on a stock set is out of control, I got my set of 20 Evo lugs off of EvoM for $20. Just post a WTB ad on there or a local Evo forum and you should have a set in no time and don't spend more then $40.

Got them for free from my buddy, score. Now to see how much it is to have them coated.
