Good Projectors?? Do they exist?

I would also like these because they sound like the best ones. I believe there are some similar to them on ebay but I am not really sure. So if anyone could let us know please post or PM. thanks

all right i guess the matrix projectors will do just fine for me but anyone know any place i can get em for a bi*** cheaper than 250+shipping from the matrix website i tried searching google but all i get is headlights for toyota matrix's

TrystanGST .... how many "K" are those HID's, because they look really bright.

**UPDATE**
I received my APC dual projectors in the mail and they look nice, and are much better quality then my cheap old matrix pair using the H3 H4 bulbs.

Here is the kick in the ass, they came with no wiring harness and I no longer have my old lighlights....DOH! I hope the local salvage yard still has some Eclipses hangen around. Of course, even if I still had my OEM lights I would not want to taer them apart for the harness. I am dissapointed with APC in the fact that the harness was not included. Other then that, as I said above, they are built much better then the ones you find on EBAY now.

Phillips Ultinon 6000K.

anyone know of any places that sell half decent 95-96 lights so I dont ahve to butcher my harnesses or anything.

alright guys, finally got my blitz bodykit on minus the rear bumper (havent got the eclipse tails in the mail yet) and i drive a 95 awd tsi 5 spd, i was wondering your opinions on what projector headlights to get, because my bumper sags below the 95 headlights as everyone knows because there 2ga style lights and the bumper is made for 97+ headlights. please give me any opinions about the headlights you guys have cause im ready to buy some projectors. Thanks alot :thumb: -Rob

if they use H3 bulbs the light output is undisputably horrible.

H3 are fog light bulbs that do not provide enough lumens to light anything fer crap.

a few times while getting onto a highway I had to double check if they were on.

If you drive in the city all the time, you should be fine but turn into anything dark and your in trouble.

I want the same route and did an HID retro.
oh and HID kits get dimmer the more K you go. 4100-4300K are the standard for best output. the Utilions look good as well but more $$ if I remember correctly. The Bluer the bulb, the less light it puts out.

You are correct about the light getting dimmer the higher you go with temperatures. 41-4300 are the best for light output, and the whitest. They are also about half the price of a set of 6000K bulbs. I wanted the 6000K because of the color shift. It's a little more money and a little less light, but the difference (to me) is stunning.

Haha luckily you wouldn't have to modify anything to put different temp bulbs in. I never had 4300s in, so I don't miss the light output. But the amout of color at the cutoff is simply stunning. I don't have any pictures atm, but I will try to get some good ones when my car and I are reunited this weekend.

i got mine off of ebay, they didnt cost too much at all, only problem i had was the bulb cover on the back fell off, but it went though winter and lots of rain and there is absolutly no moisture in them what so ever. i still want to find a cap and cover it tho.

thats funny, i got halo projectors off ebay that use H3 bulbs and they are way better than stock. i live out in the country with hardly any lights and i can see beautifully. then if need to flich the highs on and treetops far far away shine.

i think its all in how you aim the unit. while you cant actually aim the bulb inside, you can use your brain and bust out some washers to put between the housing and the frame, and aim them that way.

I cant believe this unless your stock bulbs were burnt out.

the 9006's put out ALLOT More lumens, Have a better dispertion. etc.

Thats why H3 are used for fogs because they are only supplemental lighting.

They were correctly aimed is just due to its limitations.
