Black sun visors? do they exist

Does anyone know if black sunvisors for the 2g exist and where can i get them, or maybe theres a place i can get covers for em. let me know of im gonna have take off the fabric and put new stuff on

Go to any upholstery shop. You'd probably be looking at $50 max.

i redid mine

cut off the existing fabric and cut a new square of any fabric you want. to put new fabric on, there is a slit on 3 sides of the visor where you tuck in the edges of the fabric into. i thought the visors came apart but they dont. they are 1 piece and you just have to tuck everything into a little opening.

i sprayed mine with fabric paint -- no prob.

im getting custom ones made. so i dont have mine right now.


if you dont care for the mirrors you can do this job EASY!!! VERY easy. and under ten bucks.

cut off the fabric with a razor, just go all around the edge cutting leaving some in.

all is cut away, now take one of the two flat heads you have next to you, pry the edgeapart... yep, see those teeth. now you understand how it works.

lay the sheet that you roughly size to fit, dont worry about overage regardless we need to cut. put the visor, perpindicular to the floor your sitting on. now lay the fabric perpindicular over the the teeth edge. only let like a quarter inch go off the side. then push the fabric in with a flat head and wiggle it in to spread the teeth, then as you pull the flat out, the teeth will bite the fabric, then go down the edge putting the rest of it in.

pull the sheets other side around the visor and prepare to insert it into that edge, but heres the trick, pull it Tight, then make sure you can get about a half inch Into the Teeth because it needs a good length to bite, Trim correctly, then repeat method to complete. and thats it.

did this make sense. most likely not. but when your into it it should. and im tired ans sleepy.

where do you get fabric paint?

You get fabric paint at wal-mart. It's called duplicolor vinyl and leather?...Iunno it's not in the paint section though. Go to automotive and you should see it. That's what I shoulda done but I already took my fabric off.
