different sun visors?

I was wondering if anybody knew if any other cars visors fit the stock location of the Eclipse 2G, junk yards around here dont have very many 2G Eclipses (1 right now) and the interior was gutted... I looked at some Galant visors and they seemed close, but maybe a bit too long? Id buy new ones but they want $50 a set on ebay and JY is $10 for a pair! Im going to re cover them to match my suede headliner, but I just need some to put in, its driving me nuts!

A link would be great, I searched google with about 10 different phrases and got nowhere, thanks in advance

The 95-00 Dodge Avenger's have a very similar interior to a 2g DSM. I'm not sure if the visors are the same, but it's worth a shot.

I am 99% sure the visors are the same. See if you can snag a set. Or try the classifieds on here. Post a WTB ad or reply to a partout ad. They shouldn't be too hard to get a hold of. Ebay has them as well.

ahhh I didnt even think of that, I was at the junkyard going nuts looking at galant's, 3000gt's, mirage's, older talons and eclipses. The only one close to having the same mounts was a galant but the visor itself looked too wide.

Also, I found it AMAZING how many drivers side visors are the only ones gone in cars... Somebody is slanging those things like hot cakes somewhere, only 1/5 cars I looked in actually had a drivers side visor haha

That set has homelink. Some people go nuts for Homelink. If that is too exspensive, then the classifieds are your best bet.

Homelink isn't all that great.. My avenger has it and I tried to set it up on 3 different garages an it wouldn't communicate with either garage door opener! Hope you have better luck!

I ended up calling on a local ad a guy had, offered him 15 bucks for both and he said OK, ill have em tomorrow and covered in suede by Thursday

I'm glad ill finally be finishing up this journey of finding 1/2 my interior parts Haha... bought the car with zero rear hatch/ trunk trim, no visors, saggy headliner, broken sunroof, broken radio mounting hardware... oh and the door insert panels were painted red that was chipping off to black underneath... that was originally grey , which I could also see through the red and black! Glad it will be done and over!
